He is the employer and the employee, born on December 1st, 1979 at Imgarr, Malta he describes the media as an alley and once you go through it, you're hooked and turned into a 'mediaholic'. He considers Calypso Radio as his second home with no difference what so ever between work and hobby. He loves Italian music, with Fiorello being his idol. For him there is no room for lazy people. He is always ready to grab whatever challenge comes his way , even though sometimes he has to sacrifice other things. He has no regrets where Calypso is concerned. He feels it's his duty to thank the team and listeners who make Calypso Radio their favourite radio station!

He is commonly known as "Freddie tal-Hamrun Kiosk". He was born on March 2, 1953. He is married to Anna and has 5 children. He started his radio business when Calypso was a community radio in October 2005. He continued as one of the directors when Calypso changed to a nationwide frequency on 101.8. Freddie loves movies and prefers to watch a film at the cinema and loves dining out. He's a down to earth person and this makes him as a point of reference to all Calypso Radio staff.

She started her career as a radio presenter in 1985. Through out the years she became a popular personality with her easy going original style that makes her listeners feel like she is part of their family. Her voice has been on the airways broadcasting on various radio stations, presenting all kinds of programmes. Angela enjoys good food, travel and being in the company of people who matter and naturally always determined to entertain you to the full!

Born at Rabat on February 25, 1959. He simply adores good music of the 70's and the 80's! Charles has been part of the presenting team on Calypso since it was broadcasting on a community frequency from Hamrun and at that same time it was very hard for Charles to make a decision, after 25 years on nationwide radio and getting transferred to community radio... Today he thinks different and is very pleased with the success Calypso Radio achieved so far!

He was born on June 3, 1983, in Sydney, Australia. He has been living in Malta for many years, now. He is the eldest of a family of 5 who live in Imgarr, Malta. He started working with Calypso in October 2007. He is enjoying it to the utmost as he considers it be an honour to work with the Calypso team. He has technical duties, such as taking care of radio outside broadcasting. He enjoys playing and watching football, swimming and traveling. The sounds of the 80`s and the 90`s hits are my favorite!

A Natural avoider of the common boring (www.) buzz words and seeks a quiet night out with close dudes preferably in candle light and without any brand names on their clothes. Charles hates walking adverts! He is not ashamed to say that he is the cheap and cheerful type, where simplicity is an order. Charles discovered his insatiable irresistible passion to telecommunications and plonked himself in various popular Maltese radio stations. The initiation to his radio career began at the age of 16. He was inspired by various radio big boys who encouraged him to further his radio talent. As a broadcaster he seeks happy communication with the listener and tries to be as active as possible to create an interaction with the passive listener. He believes in the listener and tries to please in supplying the best musical menu available in the broadcasting cuisine.

He was born on April 5, 1955. He began his radio career back in the early 80's! His passion for Italian music started when in those early years of being a teen! During his long career Twanny met and interviewed many Italian artists such as Gianni Morandi, Claudio Baglioni, Antonello Venditti, Zucchero, Eros Ramazzotti, Albano ,and many others! In 1985 when Festival Bar was held in Malta at the Granaries, Twanny was the only Maltese person to address the 40,000 people attending the event! In 1990 Twanny was the person in charge to bring the Italian Singers football team in Malta to play against local personalities. Twanny together with Gianni Morandi hosted the event held in Ta Qali Stadium in front of 11,000 people. For several years Twanny was accredited with RAI International, having also vast experience in commenting the San REMO Festival. A keen supporter of Italian football team AC Milan. Twanny is married to Marianne and has a daughter Cinzia.

Born on August 30, 1951 and married to Jayne. He is a father of two. His favourite groups and singers are the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Hollies, Beach Boys and a host of others. He became passionate about music at a very tender age, where he embarked on his entertainment carrier behind the mike, which sadly had to be later put aside due to work and family commitments. The 50's, 60's and 70's have given John the musical style he is so fond of. His hobbies are: cars and football. He supports Liverpools FC and A.C. Napoli.

Our “cowboy” was born at Haz-Zebbug. He started his radio carreer way back in 1973 with the Rediffusion Company. Later he joined other radio stations before joined Calypso Radio when it was broadcasting from Hamrun as a community station. John Muscat established himself as a DJ and presenter of pop and country music programmes. He is wellknown for the humorous touch he gives his programmes and for the spreading of positive messages all the way. John Muscat is also reknowed for the presentation and organisation of shows around Malta and Gozo.

He hails from Rabat, Gozo. Born on January 1, 1946 and is married to Maria, nee Zammit. They are the parents of Nathaniel, Dr. Geoffrey and Francesco Pio. Chev Attard is a teacher by profession, practising his profession for 30 years at Ninu Cremona Secondary School, Victoria, Gozo. Well known for his radio and newspapers features and as an author of various literature works. In 1984 he received the investiture as a Knight of the Unione Cavalleria Cristiana Internazionale. He is a regular presenter of a chat shown on Calypso Radio.

He was born 1969. He is married and has two boys. Louis hobbies include music and sports. In his free time he enjoys to go to Mistra for his relexation. As a DJ, Louis plays mostly Rock n Roll, sentimental songs, pop music and Italian songs. Music is his lifetime, and feels honoured to host a a show on Calypso Radio.He has great esteem to his audience. His message to them is: "You are always on my mind!"

Manwel Zammit, was born on May 17, 1945 at Valletta. His journalistic career dates back to May, 1964, when he was a reporter and later editor of a Maltese daily newpaper. In 1978 he was employed with the state run broadcasting station as producer-journalist in the News Department. Later, he held various posts, including those of Head of News, Head of Radio and Manager Archives. He was assigned to report events of local and international importance both for radio and television. Late in 2004 he served the Devolution Section of the Department for Local Government.

He hails from Sliema. His main hobbies are history, collecting Melitensia and music. He follows sports, especially football. His favourite teams are Sliema Wanderers and Internazionale of Milan. He started his media carrier as a presenter with Calypso in Gozo. Produced and presented successful TV programme “Forcina”. He played parts in various tv soap operas such as “Ipokriti”, “F'Bahar Wiehed”, “Ingroppi” and recently “Dejjem tieghek Becky”. Mario hosts several show on Calypso and considers himself as a friend to all man, with the motto of “Never Say Die”.

He is not entirely new behind the microphone and not entirely new himself, anyway. Suffice it to say that he has been a grandfather for 14 years now. And as for his age, he'll let us guess. He has no favourite singer but loves Country Music. Simply good country music and loves to watch a good game of football with Manchester United being his favourite team. Travel is a must with Australia being the farthest country he visited so far.

He simply adores music and has been working in the music and entertainment industry for more than 30 years! He joined the Calypso team in February 2006. Calypso Radio offered him the first experience on the media and this proved to be a door opener for a lot of opportunities. He enjoys playing great oldies during his programmes.
